I'll be in Fayetteville, WV for a trip and was looking for some recommendations on nice routes/roads to ride while I'm there. Preferable would be rides I could do from near the bridge visitor center. Rides up to 60 miles or so would be nice. I'm mainly looking for some climbs. Figured I could always go down and then back up Fayette Station Road to cross the river if nobody has better suggestions.
And while I'd prefer not having to drive my bike somewhere, if there are spectacular climbs in driving range I'd be up for them. Madams Creek Road from Brooklin up to Freezeland Road looks like almost 8 miles of uphill, for example. Not sure if it is nice enough to bother driving out there though.
