hi there, I have a roberts cycles columbus custom road bike. It features campagnolo chorus 10 speed groupset, carve carbon fibre forks, mavic sapim rims and michelin pro race tyres. its a few years old and has some light scratches. Does any one have a clue on how much I can sell this for at a reasonable price. thanks cini

Your request would gather more informed opinions if it included a few photos of the bike.

Here's what I know about Roberts. Charles Roberts started exporting to the US in the early '70s. His bikes were practical and exuded excellent workmanship and finish, but they were never showy. I had a Reynolds 531 road frame from this period that was ridiculously light.

Son Chas apprenticed to the dad and took over the firm around the late '80s. By the late '90s handmade steel frames were becoming a boutique item, and Chas appropriately responded with more custom work.
