Mods - can we lock this thread please?

Personally, I'm fairly ambivalent towards the Schlecks, but we'll have another 21 threads slagging off Andy and Frank throughout these 3 weeks - we don't need another, surely.

it's only Andy bashing; Frank not so much :p

If Andy rode like Eze Mosquera and just put his down and went he would be a difficult guy to beat, pretty certain he could burn most riders off... But he doesn't.

Thats just it...I have read this thread.. and laughed quite a bit. I agree with most everything...but I am not sure andy can burn these riders off...he is being given credit for something he has not done yet...:D

The Roche quote is absolutely hilarious!!

Watching Frank have a whinge that only him,his sister, and Basso were racing made me yell at the TV "That's because you're the one's BEHIND! MORON!"

Is it that hard to work out? Why on earth should Cadel be the one firing off when he's already in front? Though I would have loved to see him do just that,if only to see if Pandy would sacrifice Frank and actually continue to chase;or how long Basso could hold on for.

Yeah nice quote from Roche, the thing is with Andy is nobody really knows what he's capable for certain.
Anyway I ride like he does on my mountain bike on the way to work with the constant looking around and slowing up, but I'm trying to avoid idiot women drivers dropping off their kids to school and not racing in the Tour De France :D

Can't really blame them for anything they've done this Tour. Andy was quite weak on Luz-Ardiden, practically fell from his bike at the finish. Fränk was bad at Platteau de Beille.

You could see that Andy's attacks on Platteau de Beille had very little strength behind them, even Voeckler and Vanendert could follow him, but at least he was trying. He is still some way off his 2009/2010 shape. If he improves in the last week like he has done in the past, I wouldn't be surprised to see him launch an attack that sticks on either the Galibier or Alpe. He has shown last year on the Tourmalet is that he can still win a minute one everybody else (bar Contador) on his own, if he can find that shape in the Alps, nothing is lost.

Ok not all women drivers but I come across some bad ones on a regular basis where I live on the school run.. But maybe I'm just unlucky.:)

Help needed:

Is "Frankenandy" singular or plural? Is it, "Frankenandy is having a bad day." or "Frankenandy are having a bad day." ???

No it wasn't. It was a 13 year old lad....

It was a lady driver dressed as a 13 year old boy.. Kind of like a French version of Jimmy Krankie.

I'll get my coat...

Quote of the day

Imho, this must be the "Quote of the day" for this rest day, with many interviews:

"It would be boring without us"
The Schleck bro's

Maybe it should be ingraved on the virtual grave stone, if they lose the TdF?

Feel free to add your own "Quote of the day" from the various interviews...

Did they both say that together did they? Sometimes I think they must love to be grouped together as one person. They certainly aren't shy to say what there thinking in interviews.

I think this quote beats all of the upcoming ones, so the thread should be closed :) Or is there an interview where they said that Andy raced for that 2 second?

And this couldn't have gone in the rest day thread, or one of the 12 "Bash Schleck" threads on the front page??
