Which GT has Gesink won again?
He didn't but was fluffed up as the next big thing before he wasn't... I am not saying that Sepp Kuss is not a talent. What I am saying is that being designated by the media, your team and your competitors as a race leader, a team leader maybe something that may pressurize his life, he may want to consider the new job before the media has him designated as a team captain..

He should have enough experience to know his limitations. That said, at the near side of 30 the money becomes the next thing. You want to be paid well and a team that actually knows your abilities won't get bu*thurt if you have to return to domestique duties. Making a few more bucks for a marginal team that folds and leaves you unemployed, over-thirty and neglected wouldn't be a good idea.

....as a loyal domestique. He may be eligible for either a pay or opportunity incentive now. He'd be nuts to go somewhere else if they allow freedom in, say the Giro.
That horse is out of the barn there is no team director that won't include, " keep an eye on Kuss" in the future, Sepp's days as an unknown are done. And then comes to Jumbo management having a race within the race of starting a race with Kuss and Roglic or Kuss and Jonas being co leaders, and let's see what happens or let's see who is going good and we will support them. The Vuelta is a one off, the only way Sepp Kuss is a designated leader of a team is if he goes to another team. Jumbo Visma already has conflicts from too many cooks in the kitchen

I used Fumanyà, Sant Isidre and Queralt in that order in the RDT a few years ago but rejected the sterrato climb Sepp uses as at the time it was not passable, if the state has improved and it would be usable now, that's cool. He's gone in close by Sant Isidre so climbed the opposite side from me, but because I wasn't using that climb he has suggested I approached Bergà from the east and then went over Pradell and looped around for Fumanyà.

Sadly that stage has been lost to Imgur wiping old images and Cronoescalada being hacked at the start of the year, so the images aren't there to do a direct comparison.

Thats why he's a legend when it comes to designing stages - he aint scared of a bit of gravel and what not, guy is training in these mountains on the regular and won't bow down to the likes of Adam Hansen and other idiots!

I think it's a basic UCI standard that there shouldn't be a river running across the route.
Sure, the route can go across a river, happens all the time, but the other way around... naah!
