Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali (2.1) 20th - 24th March

Official Site

Start List

Stage 1a: Gatteo → Gatteo (99.5 km)

Stage 1b: Sant'Angelo → Gatteo Mare (TTT) (11.2 km)

The TTT is more like a TTTT (Team, Team Time Trial) - Instead of one group of 8 riders, each team will be spilt into two groups of 4.

Stage 2: Gatteo → Sogliano al Rubicone (162.3 km)

Why so few WT teams?

This looks indeed like a great parcours. Shame not televised. Do you know why the interest from the top teams is so limited (beyond the Italians)? Is it because they are already spread thin with classics and eg Catalunya at the same time?

This+ T/A held last week. Top riders need time to recuperate.

Really like these parcours, and a lot of good names on the startlist, should make for some good racing. That TTTT sounds like a very interesting idea too, I look forward to seeing how that goes. Hope that Ponzi, Battaglin, and Rebellin can do well. Could see Santambrogio doing well too, he showed good form in TA.
