With the incredible strength in depth available to Team Sky, surely it would make a lot of sense for them to have two teams in the Tour next year. Wiggo could have a strong team to help him in the mountains, Froome doesn't need so much support in the climbs so he could be on a team with Cav where the strong leadout train could help protect Froomey on the flat. How about this for two teams?
Wiggins, Uran, Porte, Rogers, Boasson Hagen, Siutsov, Knees, Hayman, Swift.
Froome, Henao, Nordhaug, Pate, Stannard, Cavendish, Eisel, Flecha, Thomas.
This would be great news for Team Sky but also for the race itself, a Sky B team would add much more to the race than the dross served up by the likes of Saur, Argos etc this year. No need for Cav or Froome to leave then which would obviously be of a benefit to the sport as a whole. Of course, I realise this is unlikely to happen but surely an exception should be made for Sky in this case due to their incredible strength in depth.
