in that the fact that they are 100% dispensable in the grande scheme of things. Does anybody really think that Radioshack would have been worse without Johan? Anybody think Riis is just so damn valuable that Saxo must have him?

I don't get it. Everybody knows that the cyclists have there own "coaches" and "staff" following them around. Heck if you believe tyler's book then Johan is a mere logistics guy...alberto contador didn't even follow Johan's instructions. So why the hell do these teams feel the need to keep these doping related guys still in the business? There are so many deserving guys willing to do the job yet the sport seems to like keeping these guys inserted on almost every team.
