I haven't seen this in any coverage, but how frequently do teams assist or push their sprinters over hills?

Back in the 70s teams used to bring ropes and use teams of domestiques to pull their cannons over the hills...

I remember Pozzato accusing Cav of holding onto team cars in the 08 Giro. But of course that was just because Pippo fancies the Missile.
