SRAM RED TT shifters

Are the SR TT shifters compatible with durace front and rear derailures? Seems like they would be since you don't have to worry about the double tap feature.

The front I think would be OK, but I believe the Shimano and SRAM rear derailleurs have differences in the amount of cable travel for each gear step.

Correct. Front = YES, Rear = NO. You could probably wrangle it with a rollamajig but you're probably better off just sticking with the shimano shifters.

The 1090 R2C are not. Those are the ones where the shift levers are always pointed forward. Those shifters are compatible with sram ders only.

The lower end ones, where the shifter for the FD is friction, that one can use any FD but the rear shifter is sram road der compatible only.
