State of the forum 2024

State of the forum-clinically dead. The most boring riders ruining the most beautiful race. I’d like to know what fans of Roglic and G are on to be able to defend that trash. I won’t be watching the time trial because they all deserve to lose and it’s my birthday-it’s time to party.
Happy birthday Michele Bartoli. I'm going to need to be like Bonnen and find some cocaine to get me in shape to enjoy the end of this giro.

Anyway, you all know who my favourite rider is, and how he's been very outspoken about not using any sort of morally questionable measures, not even a perfectly legitimie TUE outside of competition to fix his injured back.
Thanks for confirming my cleanness! I shall now continue having one of the best final weeks of a GT in my (forumite) career, while only making up my mind about what I want quite late, and maybe occasionally question the identity of people.
No, I'm pretty sure you were a lab experiment gone wrong, but they later avoided making the same mistakes when they produced Dorian Godon :p

Last night when going to sleep I discovered all my melatonin was gone. No sleep for noob but instead watching Asian gays and rumours and eventually falling asleep to a Chinese comedy. I fall asleep when I'm excited and really need to stay awake, so how to coop through this stage? :O Dancing in front of the TV?!
Miserable noob is miserable.
I love this stage so far. :tearsofjoy::hearteyecat:

Did you actually watch this or was it a typo?

Why would I not? :joycat: Well obviously I shouldn't have as it didn't promote sleep in the slightest. Chinese comedy was way more effective for that. But I like to watch how people can produce drama/content etc despite the Chinese censorship. To see how one can get ones message out without getting censored. A lot of subtlety and hints everywhere. Not a good way to go to sleep at all. But the process around it is interesting. A bit similar to figuring out vampires in cycling. Fun but not sleep inducing. Too intense!

CN posters realising that the Giro is almost over and that they've reached the end of their super peaks (maybe it has also hit them, that they should have written more aggressively during the second week):

I have made it a goal to drop a little weight to get in better shape for sitting on the couch in July. After 3 weeks of training I've gained 3 kilos, so not all Danes are flying high this year.
Muscle weighs more than fat. Are you pumping iron? I suggest 10 km runs and a high fibre diet. Or you could go on the turbolax like they’re on in the Roglic/Remco threads. I think you can steer clear of the sinister weight loss while maintaining power drugs that are growing in trees in Denmark and Slovenia. Anyway, best of luck. And I’d like to wish you condolences in advance. Sorry for your loss (of blubber).

I actually took on most of the weight in the first week, but the main reason for that was that although I've done the weighings at the same time of day, the first one happened before a meal while the others have been done afterwards. Things are looking a bit better now though, cause I lost 0.7 kilos in week three, and I've hopefully also managed to gain some muscle mass along the way as well.

It'll take me a while to reach Vingegaard's weight, but I've glued a piece of paper onto my bike computer, and now I'm always doing 10 W/kg.

If the goal is to reach Vingegaard's weight... I'd need to eat more cake!
TBF, I'm also around 15 CM shorter than he is.

And of course, I have seen evidence that there are people on this forum who likes drinking Red Bull in bed...

I actually used to have a similar weight, and I don't think I've grown taller since. If only I had ridden my bike a little more...

I've now found that it's a much more effective diet than eating dinner at Grandma Padun's house.
