Thinking I'd like to finally get a repair stand. Current ride is CF with a CF seat mast so no metal to clamp to.

What are some stands worth considering?

If we *do* have metal to clamp to (steel frame, alu seat post), does that change the rec to one of Feedback's other stands, or do you still consider that one the "one to get"?

The ones that clamp the fork and rest on the bb are the most stable.

But mine clamps the seat post (regardles of it being carbon) as I find it more useful. For instance I can use it to true wheel on the bike, I glue base layer on my rims. It does shake around more when you are running through the big gears but since I could only have one...
Mine bolts on to a bench, so it is not portable and also not good for getting high, but it is better than nothing
