Suunto Ambit sports watch

Does anyone own or have any experience of the suunto ambit watch? It looks amazing and I'm on the verge of buying. I'm not buying it for cycling purposes more for general outdoor stuff but it looks quite substantial and the biking features appear to be more than ample, I currently have an edge 705 but would consider selling to finance the watch, thanks

I don't like the fact that, like the Garmin 910XT, it requires daily charging. When I buy a watch, I want one that runs months or even years before needing new batteries. Having said that, for runners or hikers that will only need a watch during the particular activity (as bikers do) then I guess its Ok. In this case I believe I'd rather have the 910XT but the Suunto is probably fine.
