In the north, Turramurra cyclery, in the south Frasers at Taren Point. Todd at the latter is a nice guy and will talk bikes with you all day. Everyone there is really good. Very good with warranty issues there, too.

I know a number of good local bike shops but you really need to say in what area cause i could list a load that would all be useless to you as they may not be "local". Clarence Street Cyclery in the city is good, i have brought a number of things from there. Otherwise i know quite a number in the north of the city. Are you joining a local club in Sydney to?

I don't mind riding or travelling to a store if it's good.
Considering a club as I'd like to get involved in the local scene both social and racing. Suggestions?

Also, there are 2 rides at the weekend from the Kings Cross area (Darlington Street I think) - there were a few European pros out on the rides and abot 100 riders each day.
Pretty quick pace.
