He loves Flanders. He can do it again because he will not race the Giro next year.I'm curious where folks are getting the idea that he'll race Flanders again next year. Has he said this?

He is needed home, the misses calledIf Vingegaard goes to the Vuelta maybe Pog goes just in spite.
Fatco and FatacarLet's see what happens next week. Maybe having looked at the Vuelta field post-vacation Fatacar will decide to make history this year. And then holidays until April.
Fatco and Fatacar
7w/kg FTP is bonkeeers, no-one is close to that even. Its other people limit.
Its also Vingegaards and Remcos(less) capacity for anarobic capacity which they only can sustain for a very small amount without blowing up. That it is Pogacar FTP is just laughable, impossible to describe how good 24 Pogacar is.Time to exhaustion at 7 w/kg:
Teddy: a few dozens of minutes (Z4 - lactate threshold)
Climbers: a few minutes (Z5 - VO2max)
Amateurs: a few dozens of seconds (Z6 - anaerobic capacity)
Below average Joes: a few seconds (Z7 - max. anaerobic power), in some cases 0 seconds (Z∞ - "I wish I could achieve it!")
Not happening.Regarding his schedule next year, I still think he should do the three GT's, the five monuments and Worlds. That's probably not gonna happen, though, so I hope he'll do something like this:
SB
PN
MSR
E3
(DDV)
RVV
PR
AGR
FW
LBL
Dauphine
TDF
Vuelta
Worlds
Lombardia
PR is a must next year imo. He's a top 3 favorite.

You think he's been dropped but look for him sneaking round the caravan.Smart move. Sets the right precedence going forward - no one is above the plan no matter how talented you are.
The soap opera is over! Juan Ayuso will be out of UAE's lineup for the 2024 Vuelta a España

No chance the Uae sheikhs letting him escape their biggest race especially if he is the world championYes hopefully he dont start the season as early as in UAE Tour again, send someone else who cares its ***.

Great news. I just hope he won't be in the team next year.Smart move. Sets the right precedence going forward - no one is above the plan no matter how talented you are.

I still have a tiny hope he is going to the Vuelta. However, he was on vacations until Friday... so I will not get lucky.
He should stay in stage-racing mode and do SB, MSR, Ardennes or only LBL as far as one-day races in the spring goes. Then take his pick on a stage-race he likes to do.He loves Flanders. He can do it again because he will not race the Giro next year.
No, he is unique because he is competing everywhere! It is so great to see him in Flanders fighting against MVP.He should stay in stage-racing mode and do SB, MSR, Ardennes or only LBL as far as one-day races in the spring goes. Then take his pick on a stage-race he likes to do.
Dauphine or Swiss before the Tour.
Stay away from the cobbles next year, as well, would be the best decision imo.
It is fun, but I disagree on this one. He should stay away from the cobbles, right now.No, he is unique because he is competing everywhere! It is so great to see him in Flanders fighting against MVP.
He is unique because of that yes. He is the best cause he is the best in every terrain except flat sprints and TT.No, he is unique because he is competing everywhere!
He can win Flanders without gaining too much weight. It is fun, but I disagree on this one. He should stay away from the cobbles, right now.
He should keep his focus on the other classics and one-day races, with the Tour as the main objective. Thats just what I think is best for the time being.
