Yes, it is more probable than not that he will do that.

But I hope you are wrong, I'd love to see he winning the Giro-Tour double again haha

A man can dream.
I think he will try to target monuments and race as little as possible, maybe 12 race days. Something like SB, Tirreno Adriatico, MSR, Harelbeke, Flanders and LBL. One week of vacations and start his heavy training towards the Tour. I think he will attempt Dauphiné in June, another altitude training and he will arrive with 20 race days before the Tour. Perfect!

If Vingo is back to his best next year then Pog doesn't need a Giro in his legs. I think he found this year's Tour easier than he thought it was going to be given the time he put into Vingo uphill.
Vingegaard was better than he ever was . I expect next year to be even easier for Pogacar if he dont crash I expect even more of a stomp is only natural to think.

If Pogacar races wisely, Vingegaard can't beat him when both are in top shape. This is because both of them are very similar. Vingegaard will need to drop Pogacar to win the Tour. He already did this in the past but if Pogacar "just" race to follow Vingegaard and stomp him in the last km, Vingegaard will not have a chance. The only way for him to win is getting a big advantage in a TT but I think this will not happen.
