That TT in Caen will be very important to Vingegaard. Pogacar will probably win 15s more than Vingegaard just in bonus seconds in the first week. If Vingegaard looses 15 seconds in the first TT, he will have a hard time to win back those seconds.

Hard race to win for Pogi, but the bright side is that at least Sanremo-Poggio-Cipressa are between 40 and 60 km from Montecarlo.

I dont think its ugly its just the minds first impression reacting to a different design. In a year time probably everyone would tell how elegant it is.

I'm curious to see if Pogacar will win a lot of Velo d'Or or of he will suffer from vote fatigue

Are we halfway though the off season yet? I’m not sure I can count the Australian races as the beginning of the season. Omloops feels more like it.

He will be winning Velo d'Or as long as he's #1 at the Tour. Even with great seasons 2022 and 2023 he still lost it.

That's not a race. Definitely not when Pogacar os racing it. Probably a 1 minute advantage.

Not yet, it will be only his second. And the competition is strong so even a very good season (i.e. 2022 and 2023) doesn't guarantee winning.

I think the Australian races are just to loosen the legs (racing) and acclimatise riders to warm weather. Agree the real season starts when they return to Europe.
