If you add the Vuelta (assuming he rides Italian classics as well) that's ~69 race days. Compared to this year's (if you refer to it as "last") 58 days.
Its alot but not impossible at all. Can always cut on some of the italians at the end aswell and still do Lombardia.

I think the Vuelta is in play but depending on how he feels, its clear that the WC is a target but if he feels good after the Tour they plan to ride the Vuelta.

Say he adds in the Vuelta if feeling good after the Tour, how many race days are that then with this schedule compared to last year? (he also has to aclimate for Rwanda WC, might be short on time)

Nothing is impossible after this season though with this guy.
Spring: 7 (UAE Tour) + 8 one day race = 15
Tour: 21
Vuelta: 21
Worlds (I assume he’ll do only the RR) + 3 Autumn classics

Total: 61. Question mark would be the Dauphine if he’ll ride that. In that case, it could be 69.

Around 70 race days is feasible for 2025 pog with 20 watts added to his bike and an improved physiology would make his spring campaign easier. With the heavy spring schedule I guess he wanted to show the 🌈 Jersey on as much one day races as possible

What? How? There are enough climbs to make a difference in the race. Mvdp didn't won it last year cause he said he didn't recover from E3 efforts with only 2 days b/n E3 & Gent.
He has to get rid of van der Poel, Pedersen and van Aert to win. In a sprint all three are normally stronger..

The climbs are easier than E3 and Tour of Flanders and are further off the finish line, so I would say it´s the most difficult one out of the three to win for him...

It will heavily depend on the fact, which other riders will take part in the races I would say.

Here an assumption from my side:
Strade Bianche: Van der Poel and perhaps van Aert could be the only riders who could be threat to Pogacar here. All other riders are just fighting for places behind Pogacar.
Milan- San Remo: Always completely open and that will be also the case this year.
E3 Saxo Classic: Van der Poel and perhaps van Aert or Pedersen could be the only riders who could be a threat to Pogacar here.
Gent-Wevelgem: The fact, that van der Poel as the best cobble rider couldn´t win this race this year means, that it will also be a tough one for Pogacar to win.
Tour of Flanders: Van der Poel and perhaps van Aert or Pedersen the only riders who are a threat to Pogacar here.
Amstel Gold Race: van der Poel the only rider, who could perhaps be a threat here.
Fleche Wallone: Difficult so see anyone being a threat here to Pogacar, perhaps Nys...
Liege-Bastogne Liege: If Evenepoel starts he would be the only threat for Pogacar.
I put my hands on fire if MVP is able to compete with Pogacar in AGR.

Race day wise, I wouldn´t say that. If he rides the Tour and Vuelta, May is completely free after just 15 race days. Pogacar can clearly handle that..
I agree and they clearly hinted the Vuelta is in the cards if the route is somewhat nice, I myself expect he rides the Vuelta this year barring any missfortunes for sure.

This guy is not like the rest, whats normal for others is not normal for him that should be clear as day to everyone by now.

Bigger riders will often wait to announce Giro/Vuelta in their schedule as a negotiating strategy to try and get a higher price. He will do the Vuelta, wouldn't be doing a full classics schedule otherwise due to the risks involved those particular races. Gent/MSR the hardest to win amongst those.
I think he will opt to win Worlds again in Rwanda. Take a break in August after the Tour.

Do Tour and Vuelta in a year where Worlds is more for the sprinters instead.

Next season:

Classics.

Break.

Slovenia/Dauphine/Suisse and Tour.

Break.

Worlds + Lombardia.

A WC without favorable parcours will lead to a giro-tour double with a secret desire of the treble should he prevail with the double.

This season is a classics heavy campaign to see if his new training approach yields results. And a late season interest in worlds again.

This years tour is a necessary duty. And a healthy Vingo is a major challenge that may make this years classics ambition look foolish

Well, its not a good time to be a classics rider haha

I am surprised that this is Pogačar's heaviest classics schedule until now but it just shows how much he likes these races. Only Roubaix missing and if he wins Sanremo maybe he will add it too.

As for the Vuelta, I think its doable if he only races these 15 days before the Tour, however if he adds the Dauphiné or Suisse then it probably means that he won't race it as he would need to be in shape from June until the end of September and that is likely a bit too much even for Pogačar.

If he skips the Vuelta, I would like him to target the WCTT, WCRR and then finish the season with his trademark Lombardia win.
