MiniPhinney Discussion Thread ... at least I think he deserves a dedicated thread.

We all know he can TT especially the shorter time trials but how about his other skills including classics/pave and sprinting?

Well, hes got all the tools to potentially be a top notch cobbles rider, especially P-R. Perhaps his bike handling needs to improve, but that can come with more experience. Without Ballan, BMC can accelerated his opportunity.

Forget the pure sprinter element, its ridiculously competitive these days imo.

He obviously is not anywhere top sprinter, but he has a good sprint which will help massively in all the classics in the future as well as hunting stages. For sure he is made for roubaix.

I'll be hoping Phinney can shine and improve in the classics more this year, I won't hype him up a bunch like last year though.
