I will be at the final stage of the TdF on the Champs Elysees - has anyone got any tips as to where is best to view it from?

Thanks in advance.

I went in 2004. The best advice I can give is to get there early... very very early.

We arrived in the area several hours before the pack was to get in and we got a spot a few rows back.

Also, they close many of the side streets so there aren't that many access points.

Have a great time..

2002. agree with above.

it's a chaotic fight to get a spot, camp the night before.

find a pub on the outskirts of paris is more fun. atmosphere galore!
