Cunego should like this route, some good hills in the final couple stages.

Looks reasonable. Stage 2, and the last two (8-9) should be the deciders, though the last one has (only) a Cat 2 finish. Not much for the sprinters, FWIW.

I like the look of it, like everyone else has said it looks good for cunego or maybe valverde if he wants to go for it...

Definitely not that flat in spite of being catagorized as being flat those 2-3 stages.

the question is who will be here?

here we go,my pick is thomas dekker :D because i don't see any big guns to go for it.everyone for le tour should do toussuire.

That's what I was gonna say. It kind of pointless to discuss the tour before it is know who's riding it.
As for the parcours? Well, kinda pointless to discuss them, since we don't know who's riding the tour. It's definitely bad, but how good it can become - it's up to the riders

The route is online. i kinda like it. seems to be tough nothing for leechheimer this year.
You must remember Levi is also a top quality climber you can't just get a tour podium by being a very good time triallist and he was the 2nd best climber at the "4th GT" last year (admittedly against not great climbers)
Also he is bound to be on better form than the others probably as he will be on his peak from the ATC and so will be better than other riders who are riding it to prepare for the tour.
Admittedly Valverde & Cunego must be favorites but the big question is how many of the tour favorites will ride it instead of the dauphine, which has shown its the perfect race to build up for the tour, if Cunego races Giro as seems likely then he will probably race Dauphine as closer to his Giro peak. Don't know Valverde's programme but he won Dauphine last two times he raced it, so think he would race it.

It's not tougher than usual. Also, the queen stage is a bit of a waste.

Leipheimer could win this if he wanted to.

Agree, stage 4 with about 80km flat road between the two climbs is simply poor race design. Nothing will happen until the last climb. They could cut the first 150km out of the route and get a better race up Verbier.

Perfect course for a grinder/TT'er such as Lepheimer or Evans.
