So when they had the same brand of bikes as Sky he couldn't get one?

Love the Botlogic. Spanish Amigos, drinking coffee because they don't have bikes to ride on.

You guys will literally believe anything and take take anything to fit Botlogic.

You're a rabbit killer!

Wimbledon Commentator talking about Nadal as Nadal walks off,
"ever the perfectionist in everything he does, particularly the preperation"
wiggins appears on screen.
"Bradley knows a bit about great preparation".

The commentator is probably totally ignorant of how right he is.

Usual Bot BS.

Dowsett couldn't be happier with the support from Movistar. They are even building him a special TT bike.

If anything at Sky he was just another rider. At Movistar they are treating him well and letting select races.

Clueless. I read that interview at the time. Check the date of it and when I referred to Dowsett's comments.

It's obvious you didn't hear Dowsett in the Eurosport studio that day and he did say that he was in the process of getting a TT bike set up at his home after a lot of convincing towards Movistar. He answered this in contrast to what it was like at Sky.

You wrongly called another poster a liar when he mention this about Dowsett. Speaking fact isn't bot logic.

Yeah.

Yeah.
Goonerbot347a dial down the Sky love.

I saw the date. That's why I highlighted the part where Dowsett stated everything has been perfect from the word go.

And if you're going to tell me some bunk that Pinerello only give TT bikes to Sky & not Movistar then there's no hope for you.

I have no doubt Dowsett said something but you're hardly the voice of independence and tend to skew everything to your cult like beliefs.

This is David Walsh all over again. Spanish amigos, drinking coffee having to resort to doping because they don't train hard enough.

Doperatti nonsense
It's got nothing to do with defending Sky and pointing out the fact that you were wrong to call a poster a liar for highlighting what Dowsett said. Skewing facts, you've got a good sense of humour. Take it a trip to the JTL thread for your own tosh. Hows that letter of intent? lol.

I know facts and the hog don't go well together so I'm not interested in your games.

Could it be that he wasn't happy at first with the support (hence the comments he made at that time)

Proved his point with results, now the team works better with him ?

I can't believe the Schleck quote. Hamilton's biography quite clearly outlines that there had been an obsession with food as early as the 90s.
It goes back much further than that. What's considered "high performance food" has changed through the years. At some point, they even gave up smoking!

The elite level of the sport has had body issues for years quite similar to jockeys.

Then posted more bilge

Excellent work.

On the plus this rabbit story should open the door to a load more animal based posts. The horse/cow/donkey/racehorse stuff was becoming very derivative.:p

Not that Sky-whiners could ever be accused of that. Oh no.

Join the dots....

I never made any claim with regard to Dowsett or his TT bike

You seem confused now.
I am confused. Confused by your inane posting style and obsession with following me around the forum.

Nevertheless, you'll be fine. Ante up with the Dowsett link or there is simply no discussion worth having.

Just about a Sky myth debunked. I trust you agree with me on this.

I read an interview with Dowsett in which he said Movistar was surprised when he asked them for a time trial bike to train on during the winter, I can't remember where this was, but it might have been Cycling Weekly.

IIRC Dowsett and Castroviejo had to ask quite firmly for this to happen. Movistar wouldn't be the first or last team to not give TT bikes out to train on. Even Sky, Trek and Saxo only give them to specialists.

Marginal gains. Using a bike.

Pinarello only give bikes to Sky. Not Movistar.

You mean the 1890's, yes?

Major Talyor was meticulous about his training, diet and equipment. It's all in his biography.

100+ years later, and people are still trying to figure out how to get "aero" on a bike. I think the guy in front had a clue.

Well to be fair it is one of those lies based in truth, making it not go away.

They did adjust his cadence to take the pressure off his musculoskeletal system and load his cardio-vascular system to take advantage of the EPO and later blood doping as opposed to the steroid cocktail he was using before.

Compare the builds, gearing and riding styles of 80's and early 90's riders to those afterward. Builds shifted from huge legs and big gears to increasingly slender riders spinning faster. Part of it is technique evolution but a lot of it is drug evolution. Steroids to oxygen vector drugs and techniques.
You are very correct, I know this from riding experience, high cadence transfers the work effort from your legs to your cardio system. I have been using that of late and it makes climbing much easier but your intercostal lung muscles have to build up, your breathing has got to right and you need plenty of oxygen flowing in your system. Your post explains something I have been trying to figure out of late, how is it that these riders are so skinny and I remember LA's cheek bones were visible, Rasmussen's ribs were visible, yet they had so much extra oxygen. I was thinking of getting Smart water, that joke of a maketing ploy which says water with extra oxygen injected. Can't believe people are falling for that gimmick and buying it

'Sir Dave Brailsford wants to win Tour de France with a French rider'

http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/jul/07/dave-brailsford-tour-de-france-team-sky

WTF is this? So are ASO so desperate to have a French winner they have done a deal with Brailsford!!!

This stinks. Next year is 30 years since Hinault, last French rider, won and now Brailsford is gonna produce the next winner.

Wonder what Richie Porte is thinking.....Froome is obviously not part of Sky's future and Wiggins can forget about another TdF win, he was already awarded his and it appears they are only giving one per rider. Richie Porte better apply for French citizenship pronto!!!!

I read this different from Benotti ( like most things)
I think Brailsford, like everyone else, is hacked off with Sky. Their days are numbered.
He wants a change, and fancies creating a job for himself in France.
First thing, is to get a new French team, probably a national one.
