Lets guess who will have the most wins this season! I can only include the teams with the most winning potential in this poll. Sorry if I have missed out some teams you guys thought should have been in. In october we can look back and see how many people go it right. Could it be those sprinting teams or those teams with a bit of a mix of puncheurs, GC men and sprinters?

BMC maybe. 1T4I to be thereabouts, as they'll continually be putting their top tier sprinters in second tier races.

Maybe I should have rephrased the sentence. But liquigas don't have much of a chance. The only rider who can constantly get wins is Sagan.

GVA, gilbert, thor and evans can get many wins. Or am i being overly optimistic.

Sry, it looked like I was questioning there, but I was suggesting BMC independently.

In terms of wins, though, "only" Sagan isn't that dissimilar from saying "only" Greipel or "only" Gilbert. Obv. you had to exclude some teams though.

Can't see Radioschleck racking many up.

Sky is the logical choice as they have the best selection of sprinters and a rider for every occasion.

However, one of the French teams will rack up loads of sh*t small wins on the domestic circuit. So it might be one of them - Cofidis seem the most likely to me.

Meh! voted BMC cuz I totally forgot about Cavendish now riding for Sky. Still they have a good chance. Hoping for Rabobank ofc. ;)

What's RaNT doing there? Apart from ToC and other US races, I can't see them win a lot except for the usual Tour stage win by Andy.

RaNT current squad riders' wins in 2011:

BAKELANTS Jan - 0
BENNATI Daniele - 6
BENNETT George - 1
BUSCHE Matthew - 1
CANCELLARA Fabian - 6
DIDIER Laurent - 0
FUGLSANG Jakob - 1
GALLOPIN Tony - 2
GERDEMANN Linus -2
HERMANS Ben - 1
HORNER Chris - 2
IRIZAR ARANBURU Markel - 1
KING Benjamin - 0
KLODEN Andreas - 4
MACHADO Tiago Jose Pinto - 0
MONFORT Maxime - 0
NIZZOLO Giacomo - 1
OLIVEIRA Nelson Felipe Santos - 1
POPOVYCH Yaroslav - 0
POSTHUMA Joost - 0
RAST Gregory - 0
ROHREGGER Thomas -0
ROULSTON Hayden - 1
SCHLECK Andy - 1
SCHLECK Frank - 3
SERGENT Jesse - 5
VOIGT Jens - 0
WAGNER Robert - 1
ZAUGG Oliver - 1
ZUBELDIA AGIRRE Haimar -0

41 wins overall

Sky 2012 is no way the new HTC, they won't score 56 wins.
It looks like 'Sky vs Quick Step vs Radioshack vs BMC'

Sky have 2 of the riders that have been right up there in the individual version of this for the last 3 or 4 seasons. Thats before we even consider cobble possibilities for flecha mountains for uran henao froome hilly classics for some esp uran tts for half the squad stage races for wiggins and various possibilities for the likes of porte thomas rogers.

the funny thing is that in 2011 Mark Cavendish had only one win more than Tony Martin. Sky has Cav and EBH as safe bets but other teams have riders with 'various possibilities' too. Sky is very likely but not an undoubted winner.

the question stands in general

to bad. Would have found the poll much more interesting if it was "bigger" wins (I know there are non pro tour wins that are big, but also alot of crap wins that counts for nothing which can mess up the statistic)

tbh these wins' quantity polls are pretty dull, i would rather consider team rankings, it would be more interesting discussion...
