Lot's of comments on the surpise crashes today at PN. No mention of newer bikes and rims. Is it worth the risk to run a deep section Carbon front if your in the leaders jersey. The workhorses may have no choice, but if you don't really have to, would it not make sense to avoid the risk.

Never thought about it like that, but I guess I see your point that as the leader you shouldn't be doing too much time in the wind. I think today things like the hail probably also contributed though...
