Is his name actually Breiner and not Pedersen?
his surname is pedersen

but practically all danish riders with a -sen surname are referred to by their middle name if they have one

afaik weve only ever had a single prime minister who had both a middle name and a -sen surname who was referred to by the latter

I have a -sen surname and a middle name and honestly have no idea what I'm supposed to call myself.

im likewise , but i also just very rarely ever say my own name beside my first name

norms were much firmer two generations ago , but the only firm norm nowadays is informality

Fiorelli was a risky pick but I had faith that he would get results if the team gave him the chance. The way he won today was a pleasant surprise. Lets see if we can get into profit in the next months.

His name is Henrik Breiner Pedersen. And since there are enough Pedersens already, it's easier to just call him Breiner.
It's a bit like how Cort's name is actually Magnus Cort Nielsen, and Lund's name is actually Tobias Lund Andresen.
It's a bit inconsistent on PCS though. There he is Henrik Pedersen while Magnus Cort only has Cort and Tobias Lund Andresen has all the names.

You have to go down to 23rd to find a team without Cosnefoy, other than Seixas is this the furthest down you can go to find a team without a rider?
Laporte is in the first 27 teams currently. @jsem94 is the first team without him.
But yeah, Cosnefroy, Seixas and Laporte are basically the guys, that are required, when you want to stay upfront..

Considering that most of the other obvious picks are not doing well, I'm surprised that we have three ubiquitous picks in the top-20. There was definitely space for some good-but-a-bit-out-there teams this year (as in every non-high-scoring year) so long as it included Seixas, but clearly all the more left-field teams are either not that good or not all that out of the ordinary.

Yes, interesting fact and it still get´s more based on that fact, that the three out of the four most popular picks of the game (Widar, Rodriguez and van Eetvelt), who doesn´t perform until now as expected are even more popular in the first ranks.
Widar (29 out of the top30 overall)
Rodriguez (29 our of the top 30 overall)
van Eetvelt (28 out of the top 30 overall)

Congratulations to @postmanhat : when Harry Hudson got his first ever CQ point for coming 10th in A travers les Hautes Fagnes on Wednesday, postmanhat became the first player this season to get more than half his team in profit (and Zingle extended that to 18 riders in the black in TroBro yesterday).

Update #17: Masterful Fiorelli delivers Ilmaestro win

The first few days of the Giro is usually a slow week in CQ terms with few races on the docket and that proved true again with only one manager cracking 400 points. Things will pick up soon however with a full week of Giro stages and the Hungary GC which is always good for some relatively easy points.

Ilmaestro rides unique pick Fiorelli's thrilling Tro Bro Léon win to the top of the table. Productive week-end by nearly ubiquitous Zingle and Cosnefroy complemented the scoring. Game founder Hugo Koblet and Googolplex are tied in second place with Noa Isidore providing far more points than when he was on my team last year. Armchariclimber also features courtesy of Isidore while Rufs must be pleased with Lapeira's week-end pushing their team into the top 5.

Very little movement here. RestInPunk tops the charts with the Cosnefroy/Zingle duo and a few Groenewegen points. Riverside is the first team mentioned that didn't feature Zingle but Isidore picked up the slack.

Armchairclimber and Rufs both pick up enough points to get within range of a weekly win of our leader. Karaev nabs another 16 points to further pile the pressure on slow climber.

You could probably already guess that movement here was fairly minimal. In fact, slow climber scored the exact same number of points as Eyeballs Out so the lead doesn't change one bit. Lower down, repre and vladimir enter the top 10 while EITB (tragically in my unbiased opinion) and Nyssinator make way.

Apparently, Matthew Brennan will start in tomorrow's Flèche du Sud which has been promoted to 2.1 but has no pro teams at all on the start list.

Visma's website say they're sending their development team.
Louis Barré is also listed on the CQmanager page for the Flèche du Sud, but there may have been a confusion with Ashlin Barry. As far as I know, Louis Barré is still struggling with some long-term unknown illness.
