Same goes for Pithie, just the other way round. I had him three years in a row. Everything went according to plan in ‘23 and ‘24, and then I (and I guess a few others) lost faith in ‘25. I kept him on my team back then as it seemed like Red Bull would be a good match. But it seemed like all of ‘25 was full of strange team decisions and he just seemed off in most races.
Oh well, good for him, and for the managers that went for him also this year.

Been climbing the rankings from place 76th up until 8th now. Gautherat in peak condition, collecting some points yesterday, but his DNF today was painful. Hopefully L'Hote can take over in Dunkerque.

I don't know how I am in the top 10. I picked Mas, Widar, Bettiol, Wandahl, Rolland, Torres, Blackmore, Poole, De Kleijn, Nys.

@Shakes Has the website bugged out? When I click on a team I don't see anything other than placeholder titles like "Team 86 game 5" "No data found for this team etc".

Seems to be working again now.
It's dumping files for this data at a certain point in time per day. My guess, not sure, you loaded data while it was uploading files. Or temporarily file server was offline although than website itself shouldn't load either.

Luckily the IT solution helped (turning it off and on again at your end) :)

Jörgen Nordhagen is listed in the start list for Visma LAB Dev team at the 2.2 race Alpes Isére Tour.

Not really what I was expecting when they talked about possibly changing his planned race schedule after Romandie.

Update #19: Feeling Pithie This Week

Hi all, I'm making a cameo as EITB is unable to update this week. But I'll have to be brief as my internet is limited too! (I swear, it's not that I'm sore that my team got zero points this week)

It was a relatively quiet week with the 2nd week of a GT and the 2.PS Dunkerque race the main events.

This Week's Top Scorers

RankTeamPoints this week
1zigzag_wanderer538
2Qazaqstan488
3RestInPunk378
4HoudiniCycling364
5karaev361

Only one team tops 500 points this week, and only two teams top 400. On top is zigzag wanderer, winning their team's first week this season after a second place last month. Tops in their team is the popular Laurence Pithie, who dominated Dunkerque to the tune of 228 points for his 46 owners. Also majorly contributing is the rarer Artem Schmidt (179, 2), who won the 1-day race preceding the stage race, and Alfonso Eulalio (72, 9) picking up another week of pink jersey points before finally falling out. Second place Qazaqstan has a few scorers beyond Pithie, tops amongst them Pierrer Gautherat (78, 9), Alberto Bettiol (70, 2) and Enric Mas (40, 27). In a distant third is RestInPunk who has Pithie, Mas, Stan DeWulf (99, 2) and not much help beyond that.

This Week's High Movers

RankTeamUp/down
1zigzag_wanderer(+10)
2Qazaqstan(+7)
3yoyokt(+6)
3tobydawq(+6)
3Laurens147(+6)

It's the same top 2 here, with the 3 teams tied for third all Pithie owners.

Green Jersey Competition

RankTeamTotal
1slow_climber165
2karaev163
3DJW135
4SafeBet131
5armchairclimber127

With 22 points on the week, karaev cuts slow climber's lead to a razor thin 2 points! Aside from that, no scoring in the top 5 overall this week.

Top 10 Overall

RankUp/downTeamPoints
1(-)slow_climber7428
2(+3)karaev7229
3(-1)manafana7199
4(+7)Qazaqstan7174
5(+1)Hugo Koblet7136
6(-2)Crevaison7132
7(+1)Nyssinator7101
8(+1)HoudiniCycling7079
9(+1)repre7007
10(-7)Eyeballs Out6977

It's the same top 2 here as in the Green Jersey, but it wasn't a high enough scoring week for anyone to come too close to slow climber's continuing lead. Qazaqstan makes an impressive 7 point leap into the top 10 (and into the top 4!), which comes at the expense of postmanhat falling out.

This upcoming week sees Giro GC points, so we should see a bit more movement from that! EITB will be back for that one, and I'll see you all again around the start of the Tour.

Well, he has now been removed from the Alpes Izére Tour starting lists at least. A rider of his caliber would likely have crushed that field in the mountains I feel like.

So van Gils, Widar and Nys are scheduled to return to racing in June after their injuries. All can be found on startlists at PCS. All of them can still become good picks..

What´s quite surprising is that also Blackmore can be found on the startlist for Tour de Wallonie. I only read the news that he had a surgery in his knee, but not with the news how long it will take for him to recover..

Tomorrow the Boucles de la Mayenne will start. At first I wasn´t really looking forward to the race, as popular picks, whch I don´t have are scheduled to race there: Brennan, Söderqvist, Lamperti, Thijssen, Decomble. But also quite a few promising riders of team had been added to the starlist with Biesterbos, Brenner, Cosnefroy, Hobbs and Remijn. So let´s see what will come out of this race.

I better don´t talk about O'Connor, Mas and van Eetvelt at the giro...

It's actually impressive how poorly the Giro has gone for basically everyone relevant to the game not called Eulalio. Will be an unusually low-scoring GT GC update.

True, other than Eulalio and O'Connor there is only @postmanhat out of the current top20, who has Derek Gee in their team. Otherwise no riders in the current giro top 10, who will have an impact in the top ranks..

@Shakes: Have to say, that I miss for this kind of analysis a bit the column "current rank" of a player, when you click on a rider and you see the overview, which players have the rider.

The fact that my only two participants in the Giro are Van Eetvelt and Bettiol and I am on the list of high movers backs this up. Really strange.

You mean the rank of the players with the same rider?

Didn't catch it at the time, but Asgreen is out with a broken collarbone after a crash in Dunkerque. Because of course he is. Just in time for the races where he had the chance to score the most points.

Yes, when you click on the rider you get the overview with all the players who have the rider with the columns:
Player (name); Current points; Reference points; Percentage; 7 Day change.
Would be great, if one could add the column overall rank in this overview, as it is the most useful information together with the current point information. I think it had been the case in the old website.
