The Doctor Is In

Welcome, all physicians, clinical pharmacologists, sports scientists, couriers, blood donors, skeptics and assorted hoi pollio to The Cleanest Tour Ever (Patent Pending).

Stage 1 - No positives; no mutant alien performances; no electric motors discovered inside frames; one (completely expected) Cav brain explosion; one 6th placing from the malnourished Man of Schistosomiasis...err...Steel.

Apart from Kittel, the obvious winner of Stage 1 was the people of Yorkshire. Wow!

Anyway, let's bring on Stage 2. Time for a double espresso and honey finishing bottle!

did you not like sceptics le tour clinic predictions thread?

The time for pre-Tour predictions has passed us by, Mark. The time for Marvel Comics performances by super-humans in brightly coloured lycra is now upon us!

[Cab Sav for me, BTW.]

Unidentified Team Sky spokesman just on TV quoted as saying that one of their new performance-enhancing advances was to introduce vegetable juice to the riders - so that they could get all of the vitamins and nutrients, without having to eat all of the heavy parts.

And, no - I'm not kidding. LOL!!

So, Sky's marginal gains now includes: vege juice.

Somebody's given the peleton bad gear. Seems to be causing falling-over-for-no-apparent-reason syndrome.

Horner - smashed, bashed and crashed. 42 yrs old, yet fights himself from the back to the front of the peleton. Now, THAT'S a super-human effort.

And Phil let his displeasure be very well known by saying nothing at all for 2 or 3 minutes afterwards, and leaving Paul to fill in the very obvious silences.

Oh, precious!

Genuinely laughed at how idiotic this is

He works primarily after the "Johny Foreigner"-profile when judging dopers. No worry. He have been vocal in the Tennis-thread and Football-thread, wonder why they went so silent, so suddenly :D

Needless to say, catching dopers regardless, are not high on the priority-list. Old School McQaid if you wish.

This is the Clinic - commenters don't need evidence, just unfounded speculation and gossip!

This is what makes the clinic so entertaining. Athletes guilt or innocence regarding PED use isn't the point. The clinic would be two pages long if it where. The process of righteously gossiping and speculating is where the fun is. :)
