The first 6 stages!

Hey guys!

I need a little advice as I first started to follow cycling last year! I am playing a manager game for the tour and was wondering which riders would be good pick for the first 6 stages. I know that the 6 stages are different but i am looking for riders that are able to perform somewhat well in all 6 stages?

I was thinking riders like Sagan and E. B. Hagen, am I far off?

I appreciate any help you can give!

Sagan definitely. Pick Sagan over EBH. EBH might lead on 1st hilly stage but then it's all for Cav.

Rojas should be consistent on both hilly and flat sprints too.

Julien Simon will be quite good pick as he should be cheap and will do well on hilly sprints.

I'm probably playing the same game. Sagan & Boassen Hagen will be in most teams. They are the two riders who realistically could finish in the top 6 on any given stage in the first week including the prologue so you'll get your moneys worth.

Rojas on last year would be good value. Gallopin & Engoulvent could figure in a few stages, LL Sanchez & Chavanel could get a few top 10s & a stage win in the first 10 days or so.

I play in a Danish Fantasy Tour game. It is by far the best fantasy game I have ever played. It allows transfers each stage but rider values change with each result.

I have a lot of questions about the first few stages it makes planning transfers quite difficult. What type of rider will be top 15 in stage 1 and stage 3? Will stage one be punchers or will Contenders like Wiggins, Evans, Nibali, JDV be in the top 10 or will hilly sprinters like Rojas, Hinault, Goss be there?. Can Cav with his weight loss contend for a win on stage 1? Stage to me looks a lot more like only climbers will be in the top 10 with a 7% grade the last 700m.

I have looked over the profiles quite a lot but I am pretty confused and uncertain what will happen in stage 1 and 3. I would love to see opinions on these opening stages.
