I assume she'll be getting a pay rise, which is well-deserved. Also I don't think she's much different as a rider than the likes of Markus and Gerritse. She's just stronger than them and isn't fluent in Dutch.

It's a little worrying that Kerbaol is Ceratizit's only confirmed rider for 2025 at this point, but there are other teams that haven't announced many signings or contract extensions yet either.

Absolutely but it's just her style of racing feels out of sync with SDworx, she talks about winning the classics, yeah ok assuming Kopecky, Blanka etc aren't interested anymore. Surely the lesson regardless of the pay cheque at SDworx is they only ride for themselves, aspirations to win races means beating riders on your own team.

I assume Katie Archibald will carry on at Ceratizit, if she carries on riding professionally, wouldnt blame her if she stopped now given all shes been through, and would be 34 by the next Olympics but I don't think they'll announce the next Olympics track programme squad till December/January

They was she comes across, I could see her being someone, who would actually receive genuine congratulations from her coming teammates if she happens to win races, although that environment may be able to corrupt even the sweetest of people. I doubt she'll be winning any big races though, but you never know how much she'll be able to improve now that she gets to ride on the Specialized Shiv TT Disc, which she's apparently been dreaming of ;)

Regarding Archibald, it wouldn't be a big loss to the team considering she hasn't been riding much for them for multiple reasons, but it would obviously be a huge loss for the sport if she decided to retire, which she of course would have every right to do.

Man, I am deeply saddened that Blummentfelt will not be coming to cycling. I was really looking forward to seeing the twin brother of Alexander Kristoff trying to become a TdF contender, accompanied by his inability to ride in a peloton which they would cure by making him deliberately crash on training.
