Hirschi being part of a rider-swap with a rider coming from Israel wouldn't really have much of an effect on de Plus' ability to ride his own chances in the Ardennes Classics for INEOS.
But, it's rather unlikely that there's any sort of rider-swap going on.

Are you sure that's true? My understanding is, that you still only have to have two neo-pros in order to contract 32 riders.
But... but... that means that Israel - We Only Sign Old Riders - Start-Up Nation actually has five neo-pros!!!!!
Would make more sense. So, max five neo-pros.
The original rule was 28 + two neo-pros, so it sounds weird, if it was changed to 27 + five neo-pros. It could have been changed to four neo-pros, but since the rule (presumably) was made in order to help riders who were already pros, that's also unlikely.

That would indeed make more sense. Also JH's tweet is wrong per definition because caps only.
Then they can just fire a rider, hire Hirschi and rehire the first guy. Problem solved.
If you go to Hirschi's instagram you can see that "Qhubeka" is one of the first accounts that appear (and in most cases, they list of the accounts that someone follows appear in reverse chronological order).
But if they already have several neo-pros, surely it shouldn't matter that the most recently signed rider isnt neo-pro.
Nope, sorry, can't be. They already have a Swiss rider.
