Superman will race in Colombia in 2023. So probably Medellin, unless Savio somehow managed to get him on board.

Ah, that is not good for his long term development. To stay world class and even improve, he has to ride against world class climbers, in world class races.

OK, one domestic year on Colombian CT level won‘t destroy his career. It is better than no racing at all (like during a ban, for example). But he should already begin to start looking for a WT team for 2024.

EF could be a good team for him from 2024 on. They always search for the best South American climbers, so MAL suits well.

MAL‘s last years have been cursed, somehow. Within few years, he had success that made him the day‘s best climber on earth (TdF and Vuelta queen stages!), followed by some really weird, bizarre, absurd stories. That is entertaining, but also (most of all) really sad.

It could have worked so well, with him. He even had improved his weak ITT, at last. He‘s a loss for 2023‘s WT peloton and races. Sad story, but I hope for better years to come, for him.

His face in the start picture tells it all. He looks sad to have to wear Medellin‘s jersey. Because Medellin is a CT.

Who has done all that to him? There is no trial. There hasn‘t been a trial. There maybe even won‘t be a trial. Based on weird speculation, however, some people decided to take him out of his game - when he was/is on top of his game.

What does that have to do with justice? Will this be the future: publish evil speculation, to get rid of a rival rider, of an opponent in the business?

History is repeating here: all this stuff they do to MAL, they already did to Pantani, from Madonna di Campiglio on: pick one rider. Just one. Move him out of the business. Destroy him just on top of his game.

To be honest, there are two riders at the moment, who get destroyed a la Pantani: they are MAL and Nairo Quintana. Hopefully, Superman and Nairo find joy again, and won‘t face what Pantani had to face in 2004.

Right, who programmed an AI-bot to react on this forum?

Schoenberger has been officially announced by Rally Cycling. Pierre Barbier will be announced soon by Nantes Atlantique. Parisella has also found a new home, but the team is unknown as far as I know.

As for the remaining B&B riders, my guess is the only ones with a slim chance are Heidemann on a domestic or austrian team and Lecroq.
