How can that surprise anyone with the extremely low saddle height he rides as per standard?
I would never be able to throw my arms in the air with such a low saddle height at such a slow pace, it requires a lot of extra practice compared to normal saddle height.

"Hey, Sepp. Now you get to do all the public appearance stuff, and I get to go  home!"

He just pace Kuss, and he stays in red. Roglic was more than a minute down on Kuss, he can't gain that in 2km, especially if he helps.
He said he prefer Kuss wins, why he didn't helped then?
Roglic didn't went after him, but Jonas did, twice. He didn't give him an inch. Why did he went then? Roglic wasn't a main threat to red jersey, but he was.
The answer is obvious. Not to all of us though...

But Roglic not all the time, he didn't went after Vingegaard every time, he shipped time both on Tourmalet and Bejes because he rode according to team tactics.

More than likely could have dropped him on Xorret de Cati, though.

And perhaps stages 18 and 20... we will never know. It's bizarre how many stages were basically uncontested.

Think he also could have have put a few seconds into him on Javalambre. Rog basically towed Vingo to the line once he got back on.
