This is interesting, procyclingstats is showing lots of time gaps. I can only presume this is an error that'll be corrected.
Elisaaa! Love it.
If someone can find the start times for tomorrow, I would be even more happy.
And there were riders who DNS yesterday. Saw Consonni and Gasparrini leaving with their bags to the train station.Whose brilliant idea was it to have a 2.4 km prologue and a 7.2 km ITT in the first 3 days?
Kool has beaten Wiebes three times this year - She is the one rider who occasionally can come off Wiebes wheel - In saying that, Wiebes has been a bit off in this race.
Balsamo has also beaten Wiebes twice this year, although it wasn't for the win in De Panne. But Yeah, it's definitely not the best version of Wiebes we're seeing here. It'll be interesting to see if she tries to hold on tomorrow.
Was about to say the same. She's getting better every race, glad for her.It was pleasing to see Paternoster do her two best sprints of the year in the Simac Tour - I imagine Jayco will take her to Chongmind Island.
Lorena Wiebes second on the Cauberg. Like, really?
She got better at the hills this year, but her sprint declined a bit it seems.Lorena Wiebes second on the Cauberg. Like, really?
I was hoping Mackaij would have held on, but chapeau to Kasia for trying, but she just ended up in a devil's threeway.
The road went uphill, so she had to attack, it was demanded by scripture. She ended up in the same position she always does, happy just to podium, why was she in that break with Pfeiffer ? She wasn't going to win from there, she should have been following SDWorx riders moves instead.
I don't think that really classes as 'gossip', it's not like it's rumour being spread, it's pretty well-known and explicitly acknowledged by all parties."Everyone out there, including Taylor Phinney, will be rooting for her."
Without going into too much gossipy talk, I'm pretty sure it's "especially Taylor Phinney."
