Canyon SRAM should definitely have ridden it differently, although second place might have been the best they could have achieved anyway. But with the way they chose to ride, then Niewiadoma's only choice was to keep pushing, so they that she wouldn't end up in a SD Worx sandwich. They avoided getting a major beating though, so at least they still have a theoretical, but not too likely, chance of winning the race.

At least I had Demi in the prediction game because of course I did!!!

Annoyingly I originally went for Demi and Kasia but then swapped Kasia out for Cille.

Kasia doesn't understand the concept of sitting on. It's both her best and worst trait.

Nothing really too wrong here. The main problem is certain teams think they can ride hard and drop the sd worx doms. (I'm presuming they aren't actually dumb enough to try and drop Vollering using a train)

In what world does Labous ride for Reusser and Fisher-Black - This is madness.

one where riding for third/the win is better than riding for fifth and losing more time on GC. & it was only for a short while, it was the canyon mountain train that was the main problem today, but then again, it did put Kasia on the podium & gave her a shot at winning.

Labous was never going to lose more time on GC when you see how strong Reusser was in the last 1.5km.

If she understood the concept of sitting on she might not always finish 2nd, though. She always seems willing to go to the line in groups or pairs where she's obviously going to lose the sprint.

I know that the amount of people at a high enough level to realistically go to the line with Kasia in a two-up who she'd actually be the favourite against in a sprint is low, but nevertheless.

I'll never understand the start times of the races. We've had two early starts, now the final stage they have a much later start. Settled down to watch it, turns out its not only not on, but there's 90k to go so it won't start for another hour.

It seems like there's some aggressive racing going on today, during which SDW unsurprisingly have put their numbers to good use. Perhaps CSR should just gamble here and see what'll happen when Vollering and Reusser realise they're about to lose the race to NFB.
