Look! Another win by the 100% Danish guy. And there's a weird pattern shaping up with his wins:
Stage 1 Besseges.
Stage 3 P-N.
Stage 1 Sarthe.
Stage 3 Sarthe.
Stage 1 Belgium.
But does that mean he will only win stage 1, also win stage 3 or possibly win three stages in this race?
Also, I was under the impression that this was his first win of the year, but maybe that's because he had different nationalities when he won the 4/5 other times.
He needs to either also win stage 3, then win both stage 1 and stage 3 of the Tour.
Or, since he'll probably have a hard time beating Ganna - and several others - in the ITT, wait with any more winning until stage 3 of the Tour.
And it appears some journalist in Belgium can't count.
I think he now has the nationality of the country he races in, so Mads Pedersen, the Frenchman, has 4 wins this year while the Danish and the Belgian Mads Pedersen both have one.
Tv2 (and me) completely forgot about Fyn!
The race... not the island...
His team didn’t last without him.Mads signed a new contract until December 31st, 2025.
Good for him and the team. Trek have a nice squad for the next years… (Lance Armstrong would and will be proud of „his“ team - which would not exist without Lance)…![]()

Wasn’t Trek from Leopold or whatever it was that the Schlecks and Cancellara was on? At least he doesn’t have to see RadioShack.Yeah, but I mean that Trek as a bicycle company probably would not exist any more, in 2022 - if there wouldn‘t have been a Lance Armstrong.
So, also Trek-Segafredo would not exist… I hope Pedersen, Stuyven, Mollema et al do not forget about that…![]()

Super strong today!Chapeau, Mads!
Whatever nationality you have, you rode one heck of a stage.
@RedheadDane always great when an American wins a stage at the TdF
Danes are having an amazing Tour so far.

This team didn't evolve out of the LA Postal Discovery Shack team. LA and JB's team does not exist.Mads signed a new contract until December 31st, 2025.

Simmons was born in the USA...We have to acknowledge that Simmons also played a part in it, and that his bike is American.
Simmons was born in the USA...
My bad, I was being silly, I should have put a winky emoji with that. I was implying that just because he was born in the USA...I'll stop...I didn't claim he wasn't. My point was that there is two reasons it's partially an American victory as well.
