I'm a VdP fan and all, but no way did he have a better season than Remco.
VdP did have a phenomenal month or so in late March-April though, and I wish he had not waited to help JP at MSR.
Do we count his WC in CX and Gravel? I think you should.

RVV-PR double should be valued higher than the Olympics double. At least to me.

Worlds ITT is on par with WC in CX and Gravel, if we count that.

Podium in Tour is a point to Remco. As well Lombardia.

In terms of wins it is pretty even, but I would have it 60-40 in favor for Remco.

I think he had a very similar form at the WC. If you see how he raced on a much harder profile. Doubt Pogacar would’ve been able to do anything during Flanders or Roubaix
Did we forget that Pog rode MvdP off his wheel to win Flanders in 2023? Pog likes MvdP so he decided to skip Flanders this year to let him have another chance to win. He will be back with a vengeance though in 2025 to win Flanders and PR in the rainbow jersey. :D

I didn't forget, I also didn't forget WC 2023. Which MVDP himself said he was in best shape ever, which he also showed in Flanders-PR 2024.
