The three stages of the Giro in Denmark

A Danish website has published a pretty detailed description of all three stages of the Giro taking place in Jutland (5th to 7th May).

None of the stages is really complicated, but still there is some nice details to find, I think. Including point-of-view video from different locations (e.g. the sprints).

Well. I only got one thing to say:

Horsens, here I come!"

My sneaky plan is to head down, watch the start, then find somewhere to watch the rest of the race on some screen... and then watch the finnish live! :D

Denmark is so small, that should be pretty easy, no?

:p

Well... I meant; find a cafe or something to watch it...
As for getting to Horsens. Yeah! It's gonna be so easy for me! :D

Regarding the Herning stages... I'm a bit more undecided about those. It's a bit further away and I wouldn't want to stay overnight (can't imagine finding a hotel room would be easy anyway.) So either I'd have to pick one, or go to one stage, see it, go home, and go back to Herning for the next stage...
Time isn't an issue, money is!

So lets see, for international cycling fans, there are two options: 1. Go to Italy in May and enjoy the weather, wine, food, mountains and racing or 2. Travel to Horsens and ....

Or Herning. Herning is a rather nice town (I've seen the train-station, from inside a train, and the Mess-Centre...)

Hmm... does anyone know anything about the Presentation? As in When?

It will be on Friday the 4th. And the Giro does these things well.

I'll go to Herning on Friday, watch the presentation, stay at a friend's house, watch the prologue (in Herning) and stage 1 (from somewhere along the route probably, and on TV; maybe going to Herning for the final), as well as stage 2 (in Horsens).

It's going to be BIG! :D
