As a matter of fact ACF is right for once. Evens, Hincapie and Shar should be good.auscyclefan94 said:I think Leopard Trek will be favourite for the ttt but there are many other teams such as Sky, BMC, HTC, Garmin and maybe a few others who could feature highly.

Van Avermaet is one of the worst time trialists there is. Quinziato and Burghardt are a lot better.Ferminal said:Let's see...
BMC: Evans, Hincapie, Van Avermaet, Ballan... but the rest aren't too strong at all.
HTC: Cavendish, Albasini, Eisel, Grabsch, Pinotti, Renshaw, Roulston, Velits... Albasini is probably the worst of an excellent group.
Liquigas: They are just a solid, well drilled team.
OPL: Gilbert, Hansen, Greipel, Sieberg, Lang.
Rabobank: Boom + the rest!
Sky: Solid across the board with EBH the star.
Garmin: Hushovd, Farrar, Millar, Lancaster, Navardauskas... not bad.
Leopard: Cancellara, O'Grady, Bennati, Wegmann and Jooooost.... pity they will have to drag Junior around.
I will say.
T1: HTC
T2: Sky, Garmin, Leopard, Liquigas
T3: OPL, Rabobank, BMC, Movistar, Lampre, Radioshack, Saxo Bank
T4: Acqua & Sapone, AG2R, Euskaltel, Farnese Vini, Katusha, Astana, Quick Step, Vacansoleil

You are right about that, sprinters usually are pretty good TTT'ers, although Van Avermaets problem is more that he can't sit still on his bike, it can't be a joy riding behind that guy in a TTTFerminal said:A bad TT'er can still be a good TTT'er... sustained high power efforts, repeated. Ballan isn't exactly a good TT'er either, but both are capable of driving a TTT.
Edit: I see what you mean, I was looking at CyclingFever, they didn't have Burghardt or Quinziato, in which case BMC will be a good chance at top5.
The only week guy for the ttt is probably Santambrogio in the lineup. Van avermaet actually isn't too bad and the rest are all at least decent in the itt.Ferminal said:A bad ITT'er can still be a good TTT'er... sustained high power efforts, repeated. Ballan isn't exactly a good ITT'er either, but both are capable of driving a TTT. Most sprinter's aren't considered good time trialists, but almost all of them are excellent in a short-medium TTT.

Astana's DS is Johan Bryunhell?
Thomas De Gendt in Vac for Tireno?
And Mirko Selvaggi is in Vac too?.
That's what I mean, dude. HTC don't fit that description.Dekker_Tifosi said:Actually, Rabobank starts with 2 guys who have beaten Cancellara in a TT this year also.
