The Last chance before the tt for the climbers to get some time.

But it does look like a good stage.

For some reason the nicer profiles aren't available/showing for me... so small side on it is.

Eh? Profiles in posts 1 and 2 don't seem to match.

The finish looks a bit different and harder than last year.

The second one is the last 15km.

Im hoping Lampre, knowing the itt might not be the best for them, and that they have such a good team, will do everything to get as big a gap on the good itters. Would like to see them put a good few seconds into Nibali Pinnoti and Tommy L (dont want to mispell his name)

The profile I posted is the circuit... 3 laps. The final lap they move off and do another hundred metres or so uphill to the line.

wasn't this last year? cycling fever have it up (i assume hitch got it from there) I don't think it's right.

This year's end looks more selective anyhow.
Based on the last 2 days, Lampre will have a ball.

I've added to correct profiles to the OP, at least are the ones currently on the T-A website.

There has obviously been a route change or an incorrect profile somewhere.

The current profiles from Gazzetta have the stage at 182km, but the ones on CN and indeed the stage length on Gazzetta is still listed as 178km.

So are the CN or Gazzetta ones the correct ones? You would have to say Gazzetta, but who knows.

Route was changed because of landslides the last days.

I see, so are they just taking a different road up to the top each time (and these new profiles are the correct ones)?

Yes they are correct.

This is the ascent before the change, now it is this one.

Won't be easy for cuddles.
Will be fun to watch the tactics, or pure force. Or both.

For stage win: Visconti his very hot and will give it all for tomorrow he said, but so said Scarponi.
So, it will be di Luca. :D

if the race is finishing at the top of that hill i dont see Visconti being up there.

Especially after his good, but not great, performances in last stages.

But he said so 3 days ago...all in and maximum on that day....hope not too much. :p

There's no climb to Santa Maria del Monte on the circuit in Ferminal's post.

but if you look at the 178km it is actually goes further than the 182km one ;) Completely different route around the 40-45k mark
