Hello everybody,

It’s already the end of March and the Tour de France is approaching. As usual it would be interesting to know already by now, which cyclists will participate in the Tour and which ones will concentrate on other competitions like the Giro or the Vuelta. Which teams will rely on which cyclists for the respective tours in terms of the overall ranking? This article is destined to exchange information as well as to write down news or provide links concerning the subject.

Let’s take Roman Kreuziger as an example, who won’t join the Tour, because of too much time trial.

Meh... To early for this kind of thread, but anyway... I always thought Kreuziger is a decent time-trialist, not great but decent.

For Katusha it's a well known fact J-Rod/Moreno are doing Giro/Vuelta, Menchov is riding Le Tour. Other teams I don't really follow enough to be able to discuss who's riding and who's not this far away from the tour

there other races besides the TDF as well, so everything in its own time way too early, can happen a lot of things : sickness, accident, which i don't wish to any possible contender but ....

What races have Menchov won this year. Cadel and Bradley have at least won races ( in the same time period they did well in last year ). I am pretty sure Menchov is just as focused on the TDF as them.

Think most people wont start to think about the Giro until after RVV, P-R, Amstel Gold, FW and L-B-L etc

I'd like to think that most people would be able to think about TDF, Giro and all these other races and more?
