Funny that you mentioned the Tropicale Amissa Bongo because I was watching the highlights the other day. A few french teams take part in this race every year and, obviously, destroy the field most times, but I think is good for african cycling to compete with pros. Unfortunately it happened many times that european riders come back with bad diseases like malaria, flesh eating nasty stuff etc. Hopefully Tommy V will be fine so he can excite us again at Le Tour.
