Yes I know the route hasnt even been announced.

But lets milk this cow for all its worth.

If the Tour is what they say it is, who do you think will win.

Who does it favor most.

Also throw in names that havent been mentioned so far or arent in the poll, who could do well.

Like Kreuziger. Nibali. Levi. Who else.

Sagan? :p

Well Frank is never going to be any kind of favourite, His only result to date is scraping a podium because all the riders that could beat him either lost time or crashed out.

As for Andy, he couldnt win the Tour with mountains in it, so i dont see him winning one without many mountains but lots of itts.

***** Contador, Evans

**** Froome, S. Sanchez, A. Schleck

*** Wiggins, F. Schleck , Valverde, Menchov

If Andy can climb like 09/10 then he can regain much of the time he loses in the TT (excluding Contador)

i think Chris Froome should be awarded the prize as "the most overrated rider under the result of season 2011"

If Tony can find his clibing legs of 09 is a serious contender for the podium

Tony will be built like the incredible hunk next year to win the ITT at the Olympics and worlds and every stage race he goes in - if this was 2013 then top 10 maybe next year top 50 maybe

:D :p

If Contador gets to ride he should take it. Otherwise I like Menchov's chances.

Contador if he rides if not Evans will have this, seriously though, the mountain stages will still hammer people like Michael Rogers and Westra, the like of Martin and Cancellara will still lose 20 minutes. It will be contested by the usual favorites as it always is the only change is the odds experience an slight swing away from Andy and Frank,

Christ Purito or Gadret will still beat Cance or Martin on this route! some people are significantly overplaying this

Tend to agree with the top, but Froome won't be in the Tour. A. Schleck has no chance, unless...i better stop here...

Re: the poll mr babble, it's either other or vino, but not both #fail1
You missed Nibali #fail2
Cancellara and Martin should not even be there #fail3

Oops I forgot, I wonder if he might reconsider.

Vuelta will probably come out with 100 TT kms after this though.

Unless Conti is bringing back his 2009 Watts, i'm going with Evans or Wiggins.

Unless Evans brings his 100 BC Watts, I'm going with Miguel Indurain.

Seriously, when was the last time Evans beat Contador in a TT when both were in similar condition? Wiggins forget it.

Im a bit shocked reading this thread. All of you hate Schlecks? :) Having 09','10 form Andy will be on the podium inevitably. Moreover, considering the specificity of this parcours, the riders will have to attack more often, probably even on penultimate climbs. No one will expect ITT besides Sky and Evans.

But I read about Froome, who rode the only super TT in his life...
