This will confuse people.... Way to go.
In future you could wait until Stage x is finished before posting the thread for Stage (x+1). Also how much sense does it make to discuss this stage anyway when the most decisive stage of the first week is tomorrow?

62 points behind Hushovd, if Cavendish wants the green, Columbia will not let the break succeed. Otherwise it's a stage for a non-threatening escape and a recovery day in the peloton.
Cavendish is never going to win the green jersey this year, but he'll definitely try to win a stage.

three straight stages of flat tedium coming up, with the HTC train of tedium pulling back a non-threatening break which never gets far enough up the road to ever seem threatening.

not if they went the other way round, from paris roubaix section to liege bastogne liege section. would have been cool if they had done paris roubaix cobbles, then next day flanders cobbled hills, then next day wallone hills. oh well. Maybe next time (ie 6 years from now)Cobblestones said:
as for the stage,last year the flattest stage was won by voeckler so break could succeed. and remember that epic arashiro + 2 others breakaway in giro. The trains could mess it up. Doubt it though since this is the tour.
and nicholas roche said something today about how things always come in 3s and he was worried that since he crashed 2 days in a row he might crash today as well. Well cav has crashed last 2 sprints so he could make it interesting once again.
