Enough with these polls for competitions that have basically already been settled!
This one is much more open:
Will some go slightly quicker than the others in the mountains?
Will more riders OTL?
Will anyone leave to prepare for the Olympics?

Ballerine has a hefty lead over everyone bar Cavendish. Only stage I see the two not finishing together is stage 18 with Ballerine staying to try and sprint for the win while Cavendish takes the “lead” and holds it.

I thought there was an “I” at the end but followed RHD lead. Just means it’s that much easier to beat Ballerine.

2024: Ballerini has a 25 second advantage over Cavendish at stage 15.


Only Declercq has been able to dethrone the stage 15 Lanterne Rouge in the 3rd week so far this decade. The odds are stacked against Cavendish, but with stage 21 being a TT, there’s still room for him to notch one more win in his career. I expect no holding back on the final run-in to Nice - flat tires, mechanicals, sliding out on the corners, even getting off the bike and high fiving the crowd. He will take it.

Today Ballerini lost 27:52, while Cavendish - and several of the others - "only" lost 27:14.

Considering that final stage is TT it would be great if Cavendish was on the last place before final stage. It would make likely scenario that Cavendish would be first to finish that stage. Of course he's not going to win against TT specialists but that's another story.
