Seems to be [another?] lame profile edition. ONE (!!!) mountaintop finish in Crans-Montana... well... what shall we say...

Here the start and finish villages for every stage. If they wanted they could still make it interesting and include a few climbs, but...

Tour de Suisse 2013

Saturday, June 8: stage #1, ITT in Quinto
Sunday, June 9: stage #2, Quinto - Crans-Montana
Monday, June 10: stage #3, Montreux - Meiringen
Tuesday, June 11: stage #4, Meiringen/Brienz - Buochs
Wednesday, June 12: stage #5, Buochs - Leuggern
Thursday, June 13: stage #6, Leuggern - Meilen
Friday, June 14: stage #7, Meilen - La Punt [probably includes Albula]
Saturday, June 15: stage #8, Zernez - Bad Ragaz
Sunday, June 16: stage #9, ITT Bad Ragaz - Flumserberg [mountain top finish, partially climber ITT]

I'd say one mountain-top finish is about right for a nine-day race. Hopefully some good mountains in store. Meiringen means Grosse Scheidegg is a distinct possibility. Buochs could mean Ächerlipass and Bürgenstock. La Punt could be Lenzerheidepass-Albulapass. Just have to wait.

Switzerland= as chauvinistic as any other (European) country.
Fabian Cancellara= Suisse.
Crans Montana= was also included in the 2009 edition.
2009 Tour de Suisse= won by Cancellara.
2013 Tour de Suisse information= I could care less, this year's edition isn't even over yet!

An iTT up flumserberg is vey tough... Last time the race visited there Igor Anton won the stage and blew the race to pieces... Flumserberg is a Cat 1 climb..

Stages around Meiringen could also have Grimsel, Furka or sustenpasses in there.

Also the first itt in Qunito won't be flat. No one needs another finish in Crans-Montana, but the rest should be ok.

it will be a pretty great route if the crans-montana stage will look like that of last year with aminona in which is a very hard climb(we all remember i guess froomy making his bilharzia awesome start there, killer, cunego and frank attacking and soler winning probably his last race :( )
