Rohan Dennis has come in second at time trials this year at the Critérium International, the Circuit Cycliste Sarthe, the Tour de Romandie, and the Tour of California. This is the one he'll get right.

can take the leaders jersey and keep it until the end of the race.

I agree he'll win this but i'm not so sure he'll keep the jersey till the end,his motivation must be very low after he was left out of TDF team.

I'm hoping the Cancellara can take it. Prologues used to be one of his things. Hopefully he is in good enough of form to take it.

Is the descent technical?

I wonder how much time Wiggins will put into the other GC favourites

So i guess Canc (if he recovered from his recent crash) or Sagan will take it.

What will the weather be like?

5th consecutive opening in Ticino.

Feels like an attempt to transplant the usual Lugano stage

Although I suppose it beats the amazingly featureless race around the Ambri airport from last year.

Ya seems like the GC are affraid of the weather.

I remember Costa being annoyed last year because the organization wanted him to start last and he ended up racing in the worst conditions with Canc and TJVG.

We will see how much firepower Sir Brad has, if i was him i would be fuming and out for blood. A good showing here would `flip the digit` to Sky management team.

How technical is the descent ?

Hard to tell from the map.

Judging from the position of the timing marker, the more twisty part is going up, and downhill is a series of longer winding sections with 5 big turns.

Could be that Wiggo goes sissy on the descent if there's wet weather - Giro 2013?
He wouldn't want to compete with Froome's fall the day before - would he? ;)
