A very short TT with a hill in the middle.
Could be very interesting and open as cancellara has just come back from his injury and is still building form.
Contenders: Cancellara, Sagan, Leipheimer, Fuglsang, Montfort, Kloden, Bookwalter, Danielson, Mollema.

Gesink really became some TT sensation overnight

I doubt he will win this. But I suppose it is a good course for him.

I have been watching Bob for quite sometime. He has had bad luck, but is pure quality. Watching him in the TT in Bakersfield, he attacked the hill ferociously.
He showed excellent sprinting power in Baldy. I thought he should have won the Vuelta before. Gotta root for Bob, quality guy.

Yeah I got a feeling Robert will do well this tour if he stays on his bike of course.

Most people have that feeling every year, it's just a pretty big if.

Its the same course as last year where the top10 were:

1. CANCELLARA Fabian LEO 09'41"
2. VAN GARDEREN Tejay THR 09"
3. SAGAN Peter LIQ 17"
4. LARSSON Gustav Erik SBS 17"
5. KLÖDEN Andreas RSH 18"
6. DANIELSON Tom GRM 20"
7. VELITS Peter THR 21"
8. MOLLEMA Bauke RAB 22"
9. LEIPHEIMER Levi RSH 22"
10. GERDEMANN Linus

sagan or velits

Among others, provided that Velits has returned to his normal shape and is not completely out of form, he could be say his word too to this prologue.

However, I think(or hope?) sagan will take this. But his only chance is that spartacus is not fully recovered and also i guess he will no risk much on the descent. On the contrary, Sagan is crazy(some would call it stupid, others brave) enough to go on the descent even crazier than the craziest :p. As it is only 7,5 km the flat passages should not be the deal breaker, but cornering and descent will.

And if it would be start for 5 wins of Sagan, i would be glad. For me it's not boring :p

If Cancellara has a good time at the intermediate he will go ballistic on the descent. Try to get a recording of the last two years on this course.

if he is healthy, hi certainly will go ballistic, I am just thinking, he could be a little careful if his shoulder is not yet fully healed.

All depends on Cancellara really doesn't it? Is he back in business or not quite up to it. Though even him at 90% would be pretty close to the victory
