I'm drinking a Bordeaux for the race tonight. It was already open, and I don't have any Australian wines in the house.

Decent problem solvingI'm drinking a Bordeaux for the race tonight. It was already open, and I don't have any Australian wines in the house.
Only 52km left to go, hard to say. But why not go with the break?Any predictions tonight from the very few of us watching?
Or at least hopes?
Break is doomed, of course. And I hate sprints, so I can't be bothered to pick a sprint winner. But I'm doomed to watching it anyway.
I would be happy if the break succeeded, but I don't think it will.Only 52km left to go, hard to say. But why not go with the break?
39km to go...I would be happy if the break succeeded, but I don't think it will.
They're probably our two biggest talents on that team. Would be surprised if they didn't get WT contracts next year.Marriage and Browning look like they're in sync
We genuinely have 2 minutes of racing to 5 minutes of ads.I have no adverts watching in the USA for this race.
My feed has the announcers of course, but I can also here what I think is a producer's voice. A voice saying things that should only be heard by people wearing the head phones. She says things like "going to break in ten secons....eight.....five, four , three..." and of course.."returning from break in seven...six ..." And she says these kinds of things very frequently. So I pity those viewers.
Weird that here in the States we have very few ads. They're probably our two biggest talents on that team. Would be surprised if they didn't get WT contracts next year.

I guess this is not SBS?They're probably our two biggest talents on that team. Would be surprised if they didn't get WT contracts next year.

They'll get caught with about 10-15 km left I reckon.Weird that here in the States we have very few ads.
Aussie youngster break still hanging in there with about 32km to go
Nope. Channel 7, where Sports coverage goes to dieI guess this is not SBS?
Ja, and they know it. But fantastic effort nonetheless. They'll get caught with about 10-15 km left I reckon.
Only Visma stood out to meHard to tell a lot of the jerseys apart from the heli shots
Visma and EF for meOnly Visma stood out to me
So first of the season and we all have to get used to changes in kit to recognize teams and riders.
My curse is having deficient color vision and being a fan of EF Education. I know the pink stands out for others, but it is an unremarkable gray to me. Last year they had yellow flashing on their left arm so I had a chance. This year the left has a just a white band, which doesn't do much for me.
Bauhaus getting caught in the crash was the big one for Welsford
I definitely saw the 21 in thereBauhaus was 9th, he wasn't caught up in the crash. Some of his teammates might have been, though.
Anyway, what a stupid finale with lots of erratic twists and turns and downhill until the final kilometre.
