What was going through Bart Lemmen's head in the last 5k?

Holter maybe was too tired but still, awfully passive.

Laurence is a really big talent, he could become Alpecin's future leader for the Ardennes classics.

Hayter in second doesn't surprise me, he is actually in really good shape the problem for him is positioning more than anything else. AJ August showing some good legs too.

About Nys, I think without the recent sickness he would have been fighting for the win today. Still, it wasn't terrbile at all unlike Van Aert who has a long road ahead of him to get back to his best.

No commenting on today's stage? I know it was just a sprint finish tho.
Not much to say. Kristoff was delivered perfectly but lacks top speed, van Aert was on his wheel but still lacks the strength to go past him, Bittner rode a strong sprint but opened up too early, and Meeus received a perfect leadout from Bittner, opened his sprint late and won comfortably.

So Wout cannot overtake Kristoff who lacks top speed. Wout has a long way back.

I think at one point I saw Nys trying for the sprint...but he may have gotten boxed in. I'm not even sure if he's a sprinter or not; I know he has a great kick on an uphill finish. Let's hope he does good tomorrow

For not riding when you're with two significantly faster guys, and you also have the fastest guy in the group just behind?
WVA isn't the fastest guy in the race, Lemon has done nothing but sit on every move all race at several points where he needed to attack, no pulls, no moves.

He had the worst of both worlds, didn't get in the winning move because he refused to pull, couldn't go for the overall win because it didn't stay away, couldn't lead his sprinter out because he was off the front.
