well, Sheffield didn't come down again at least, but 5th must be pretty disappointing, given that the race was decided in a time trial, and Vingegaard didn't show much shape at all.Well, Vingegaard hanged on for the GC and Kooij sneaked past Merlier at the death for the stage, so chapeau Visma, mission accomplished. Ineos must be glad that young Sheffield held on for 5th on GC - some good news for them.
But still a success for Magnus. Both Kelderman as well as Onley would probably have beaten him without their crashes, but well... it's no coincidence that exactly those two were affected, of course.
