More hot racing this year. Last year's edition was won by Pogacar. He is going to use this race as TDF preparation instead of Dauphine/Swiss, same as last year. But he is very keen to win it, being his home race obviously.
This year he should also have a bit more competition. Also the sprints will feature at least Groenewegen and Merlier so far confirmed.

Notable GC mentions: Pogacar, Mohoric, Caruso, Jay Vine, Majka, Fortunato
Notable sprinters: Groenewegen, Tim Merlier, Albanese

Live coverage: Eurosport/GCN+ will be covering the race.

Jay Vine and Caruso should be his biggest competititors, but Mohoric has also been seen training on the local climbs, so he can surprise.

Vine is scheduled for Suisse as well as Slovenia, which are both held simultaneous. So if Vine goes to Suisse, the only hope to make this somewhat interesting is Caruso. Can't see Mohoric compete on an 8k climb.

If Remco raced here then no one would want to watch Tour de Suisse.

No Rogla this year due to Pogi being there. And the best Rogla could do is to fight for green.

Pog to test his form on one stage (likely stage 4 but could be also stage 3 or even stage 1) and to give a chance to his teammates and other Slovenians on remaining stages.
I think they already did a watt bomb test on Mortirolo and want to repeat it in race conditions.

Jan Tratnik and Domen Novak also coming for Bahrain. Tratnik broke his wrist at the Giro and had to quit.
